Daniel Malan is an artist and designer who draws, takes photographs and makes short videos. He also runs Hot Days Cool Books, a bookstore that focuses on Art and Design in an African context. In his recent work, Malan uses video from IP cameras around the world as reference material for detailed chalk pastel drawings. Daniel Malan lives in Cape Town.
